Gocaraphala

Gocaraphala is a priest manual for Hindu astrology used to make predictions using a person's birth chart in relation to the position of planets in the celestial sky often from the natal Moon position. There are many phalita Jyotiṣaśāstra texts with the same name and intent. An astrlogical text focusing on the results of planetary transits (gocara) and their respective fruits (phala). This Ms. is written in 6–7 lines per folio. cover page is blank. Title present in colophon (f. 3b) vertically. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins.
Godānavidhi

Golādhyāya (Adhyāya 4 of Siddhānta Śiromaṇi)

Golādhyāya is a Hindu mathematical astronomical treatise which deals with spherical geometry the study of spheres. It is the fourth and final adhyāya (chapter) of the text Siddhānta Śiromaṇi composed by Indian mathematician Bhāskaracarya (Bhāskara II 1150 CE). There is also a self commentary Marici Bhāṣya by the author himself. The other three chapters of the main text are Līlāvatī which deals with Arithmetic, Bījagaṇita dealing with Algebra, Grahagaṇita dealing with Planetary calculations. The folio right after the first one is written in a different scribal hand and dosen't belong but seems related. This Ms. is written in 5–14 lines per folio. Cover page is blank. Gopadmakathāvrata

Gopadmakathāvrata is part of a larger purāṇic text Bhaviṣyapurāṇa specifically the fourth part Bhaviṣyottarapurāṇa. The text focusses on prayers, rituals and observances for the worship of cows who are considered sacred just like deities. This Ms. is written in 10–12 lines per folio. Gopālasahasranāma

Gopālasahasranāma is a part of fourth section and eight chapter of larger work Nārada Pañcarātra which is a Vaiṣṇava text consisting of five sections composed during Pāñcarātra movement which lead to the rise of Vaiṣṇavism and sects of Vedānta philosophy whch are not strictly non-dualists in nature. The text contains 192 verses which are presented in a dialogue format between supreme Hindu deities Śiva and Pārvatī. In which Śiva reveals the 1000 names of Lord Kṛṣṇa who is alsa named Gopāla (cow herder). This Ms. is written in 9–12 lines per folio. Title present in colophon (f. 7b). Mistakes are blacked out. Gopīcandanopaniṣad

Gopīcandanopaniṣad is a Upaniṣad listed among the 95 minor upaniṣads in the Muktikā Upaniṣad. It is a medieval period Vaiṣnava upaniṣad focussing on the application of gopīcandana (sandal wood paste) which is applied to the forehead by devotees of Viṣnu creating a mark called a tilaka. The Ms. does not match other editions of the same text but the underlying theme is the same. This Ms. is written in 8 lines per folio. Titile present in cover page and colophon (f.3a). Mistakes are covered with gray.

Gopīcandanopaniṣad is a Upaniṣad listed among the 95 minor upaniṣads in the Muktikā Upaniṣad. It is a medieval period Vaiṣnava upaniṣad focussing on the application of gopīcandana (sandal wood paste) which is applied to the forehead by devotees of Viṣnu creating a mark called a tilaka. Govindastotra

Govindastotra more commonly known as Bhajagovindastotra is a devotional text attributed to Śaṅkarācārya which may very well be a student or a later period Śaṅkarācārya instead of the original. It is written as a bhajana which is ment to be sung. The text generally consists of 31 to 33 verses depending on the edition. Though this Ms. only contains 13 verses. The text implies the essence of Vedānta philosophy by explaining the difference between General day to day knowledge and knowledge of self or spiritual knowledge emphasizing its importance through Govinda which is associated with Brahman the ultimate truth. This Ms. is written in 7 lines per folio. Cover and back page contain title. Title also present in the beginning of the text and colophon (f. 3a) along with the scribe. There are tripple red vertical margins present on eoch side of the folio. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions present in the margins. The work discuses the effect of jyotiṣa graha positions, the celestial bodies which affect the trajectory of an individual's life and psyche. Title is taken from the colophon (f. 6a). It is written in 9–10 lines per leaf. 6 leaves are foliated 1–6, middle left and right verso. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins.
