Jyotimsāgagrantha

Title is taken from colophon (f. 61b), alternate title is Jyotisāgara from internal colophon (f. 28b).The manuscript is written in 8–11 lines per leaf.; 53 leaves are foliated 9–61, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout. The manuscript is dated as śaka 1712 (1800CE) (f. 61b). Scribe of the manuscript is Rāmacandra Cāpekara (f. 61b).

Jyotiṣasaṃgraha

The manuscript of Jyotiṣasaṃgraha is an astrological. The work contains graha and its moving effects on zodiac sign, auspicious signs or omens of the graha where it depends on the places of the graha in zodiac sign. (f. 3a) there is a chart of week days of Horā. (f. 11b)contains table of the two fortnights of a lunar month(śukla pakṣa, kṛuṣṇ pakṣa), nakṣtra's information. Some pages of manuscripts are are bloank. The manuscrip is in a book form. Title is supplied by cataloger. The manuscript written in 32–36 lines per leaf.; 29 leaves are foliated 1–4, 6–8, 10–15, [16], 24, [25–27], 29–30, [31–39], upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with double red line; tables drawn with single and double red and black line.; Bound on left margin as a codex, likely to make it easier to carry.




Jyotiṣkedāra

The text Jyotiṣkedāra is composed in 1762–63 A. D. by Kṛpāśaṅkara, son of Chājurāma. The text contains astrological math calculations and explanations about what different good or lucky astrological combinations mean and how they affect people. This work has four parts- first samhitā (including Muhūrta) , second Gaṅita (astronomy only), Horā (jātaka and tajika), and Praśṇa. The manuscript contains first samhitā (including Muhūrta) , second Gaṅita (astronomy only)and Horā. Samhitā part divided in five parts, First pallava is on Saṁhitāśubhāśubha kathana(f. 1b–5b), Second pallava Muhūrta kathana(f. 5b–8b), Third Saṁskāra kathana(f.8b–10b), Fourth Vivāha kathana(f. 10b–15a), Fifth Yātrā kathana(f. 15b–22a). Second Gaṅita (astronomy only) contains three part first part is grahasphuṭika(f. 22b–24b), Second Prakirṇa(f. 24b–25b), Third Grahaṇ kathana(f. 26a–28a). Third Horā (jātaka and tajika) part contains eight pallava. First jātaka(f.28a–30a), second jātaka(f. 30a– 32a), Third jātaka(f. 32a–34a), Fourth jātaka(f. 34a–35a), Fifth jātaka(f. 35a–40a), Sixth jātaka(f.40a– 41b), Seventh jātaka(f. 42b–44a), Eight jātaka(f. 44a–46b). Some pages are mixed.(f. 1a, 21a, 32b, 40b, 43b) are in blank pages. Title is taken from colophon (f. 46b). It is written in 8-10 lines per leaf.; 46 leaves are foliated 1–46, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with double red line.; A single board supports the manuscript. It has a flower drawn in black in the center, along with a Sanskrit prayer dedicated to the deity Gaṇeśa.




Jyotiṣṭoma

Jyotiṣṭoma is the one of the vedic sacifies. This is the sacrifies is related to the Soma. sacrifice in order to attain the heaven. The manuscript contains mantra and ritual of Jyotiṣṭoma.




Kadalīvratakathā

The manuscript Kadalīvratakathā from Bhaviṣyottara Purāṇa is dedicated to the worship of the banana tree. It describes a puja performed during the planting of the banana tree. After the pūjā, and kathā is presented in the form of a dialogue between Kṛṣṇa and Yudhiṣṭhira Kadalī as the goddess Kadalīśvarī. These observances are performed for the welfare of family members and the prosperity of families. Title is taken from title colophon (f. 5a). The manuscript is written in 10–11 lines per leaf.; 5 leaves are foliated 1–5, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are covered over in yellow; vertical margins marked with double red line.; European stock of paper with unidentified water mark




Kādambarīsāra (Based on Bāṇabhaṭṭa's Kādambarī)

The paper manuscript is Kādambarīsāra by Abhinanda (9th century) is a short work which is based on Bāṇabhaṭṭa's Kādambarī. Bāṇabhaṭṭa (7th-century) is a sanskrit poet. The manuscript consists eighth sarga. Title is taken from colophon (f. 51b). The manuscript is written in 6–9 lines per leaf. 51 are leaves foliated 1–51, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with double black line. The manuscript dated as saṃvat 1800 (1743CE) in (f. 51); date written in a second scribal hand and is probably later than the text itself.




Kaivalya upaniṣad

The Kaivalya Upanishad describes the final stage of complete realization, where one attains the ultimate knowledge that dissolves all duality, allowing the realized being to emerge as the one the absolute, beyond all distinctions. Title is taken from colophon (f. 2b). The manuscript is written in 11–12 lines per leaf. 2 leaves are foliated 1–2, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are covered with yellow or crossed out, some additions written in margins; right vertical margin marked with double red line; metrical accents added with red ink through part of manuscript (f. 1a).




Kaivalyopaniṣad

The Kaivalya Upanishad describes the final stage of complete realization, where one attains the ultimate knowledge that dissolves all duality, allowing the realized being to emerge as the one the absolute, beyond all distinctions. Title from colophon (f. 3b).The manuscript is written in 11–12 lines per leaf.; 3 leaves are foliated 1–3, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are blacked out or crossed out, some additions written in margins; some red wash dripped onto some folios (f. 2b–3a) as if manuscript was employed in a rite or ritual. Scribe is Śaktiyukta Vināyaka Sahasrabudhi (f. 3b). The manuscript sr no 916 and 917 are same but the scribe is different.




Kaivalyopaniṣad

The manuscript sr no 917 and 918 are same but the scribe is different.

Kaivalyopaniṣad dīpikā (commentary on Kaivalyopaniṣad)

The work Kaivalyopaniṣad dīpikā is a commentary on Kaivalyopaniṣad by Śaṅkarānanda. As per S. Suryanarayana, Vidyātīrtha is identified with Vidyāśaṅkara Tīrtha or Śaṅkarānanda(NCC). The text describes the final stage of complete realization, where one attains the ultimate knowledge that dissolves all duality, allowing the realized being to emerge as the one the absolute, beyond all distinctions. Title is taken from marginal abbreviations. It is written in 7–9 lines per leaf.; 16 leaves are foliated 1–16, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are covered with yellow or crossed out, some additions and corrections written in margins; vertical margins indicated with double red line.
