Bālātripurasundarīstotra

Bālātripurasundarīstotra is a tantric text with elements of Śāktaism and Kashmiri Śaivism dedicated to the deity Bālā Tripurasundarī, a youthful and powerfull form of the goddess Tripurasundarī. The stotra describes the form of the godess. The text is commonly used for worship to get blessings from the deity for prosperity and happiness. In this text the main stotra starts from (f.2a) there are six verses with the lost being ceremonial. The verses in the begining are ceremonial verses. This Ms. is written in 7–8 lines per folio. Battīsīpaurṇimāvratodyāpana

Battīsīpaurṇimāvratodyāpana is a part of a larger work Bhaviṣyapurāṇa from its Uttara parva. The text contains rituals, vratas (observances)and pūjās (prayers) dedicated to various deities to be performed on a full moon night. It is performed to remove or redeem a person from past sins or transgressions. It is also believed to help in obtaining of fruits like happiness and prosparity. This Ms. is written in 9–11 lines per folio. Title present in colophon (f. 2b). Mistakes are blacked out. There are double red vertical margins present on each side.




Battīssīvratakathā

Battīśīvratakathā is a part of a larger work Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa. The text contains rituals, vratas (observances) and pūjās (prayers) dedicated particularly to Hindu deity Śiva in the Tryaṃbaka (Three-eyed one) form and also his son Gaṇeśa (elephant head deity) commonly kept during festival time. Udyāpana is also mentioned in the text which means the completion of the observances kept which are believed to give prosparity or happiness. This Ms. is written in 9 lines per folio. Baṭukabhairavastotra

Baṭukabhairavastotra is a part of a larger tantric work Rudrayāmalatantra. There is another text with the same name which is actually part of the Viśvasāratantra. The hymns of the text is dedicated to Baṭukabhairava, a benevolent form of supreme deity Lord Śiva. The text is recited for both material gains and spiritual gains. The text is believed to give protection from negative energies and spirits as well as increase intelligence. This Ms. is written in 5–8 lines per folio. Cover page contains a red circle drawn like a floral diagram enclosed in a frame. Title present in colophon (f. 22b). There are double red vertical margins presentd on each side of the folio.




Baṭukadīpadānaprakāra

Baṭukadīpadānaprakāra is a part of a larger tantric work Rudrayāmalatantra. The hymns of the text is dedicated to Baṭukabhairava, a benevolent form of supreme deity Lord Śiva.
