Bhāgavatapurāṇa (Skandha 10; Uttarārdha)

Bhāgavatapurāṇa (Skandha 10; Uttarārdha) is the 2nd part of 2 from the 10th canto of this purāṇic text. Uttarārdha contains 41 Adhyāyas (chapters) from adhyāya 50–90. The text is listed among the18 Mahāpurāṇas. This Ms. contains a commentary Bhāgavatabhāvārthadīpikā by Śrīdharasvāmin which gives good clarity on the complex philosophy and devotional themes present in the text. The text primarily belongs to the Vaiṣṇava school philosophy. Skandha 10; Uttarārdha contains Kṛṣṇa's life after leaving the city of Mathurā and establishing his capital city of Dvārkā. His repeated victories and battles with king Jarāsandha. His marriage with Rukmiṇī and other queens, such as Satyabhāmā, Jambavatī after their rescue from demons. Bhāgavatapurāṇa (Skandha 3) is the 3rd canto of this purāṇic text which contains 33 Adhyāyas (chapters). The text is listed among the18 Mahāpurāṇas. This Ms. contains a commentary Bhāgavatabhāvārthadīpikā by Śrīdharasvāmin which explains and gives good clarity on the complex philosophy and devotional themes present in the text. The text primarily belongs to the Vaiṣṇavism school of Hindu philosophy. Skandha-3 contains cosmological concepts like the creation of the universe by the ten-fold creation method by the supreme deity Brahmā. It also dvelves into the concept of time, the difference in lifespans between humans and gods. Bhāgavatapurāṇa-Aṣṭamaskandha

Bhāgavatapurāṇa-Aṣṭamaskandha is the 8th canto of this purāṇic text which contains 24 Adhyāyas (chapters). The text is listed among the18 Mahāpurāṇas. Bhāgavataśaṅkānirāsavāda

A composite manuscript contains four different works on mantras, stotras, and rituals. The first text, titled Bhagavatīpadmapuṣpāñjali (ff. 1–12), is composed in 51 verses. A major portion of the text includes the Mahiṣāsuramardinīstotra and was composed by Rāmakṛṣṇa. This text is also known as Padmapuṣpāñjali Stotra, Padyapuṣpāñjali, or Bhagavatī(padya)puṣpāñjali. The second text does not have a title but consists of 14 verses praising Lord Śiva (ff. 14–16). The third text is Somavāravratapūjāvidhi (ff. 19–25), a ritual manual for the vrata. It describes various rituals, starting from saṅkalpa to visarjana. The final text is Achidravrata (ff. 27–28). In the manuscript, it is described as an important vrata, and it also mentions the names of several ṛṣis: Garga, Gautama, Dhaumya, Atri, Kaśyapa, Aṅgirā, Vyāsa, and Vālmīki. This Ms. is written 8–10 lines per folio. Cover has drawing in black of a 10-armed goddess, presumably Durgā, with her mount. Picture partially obscured by reddish-brown patches. Back page is blank. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting.
