Acyutāṣṭaka

Acyutāṣṭaka is a text with devotional verses for the supreme Hindu deity Viṣṇu with the names of Acyuta, Narāyaṇa, and Kṛṣṇa. This Ms.'s verses are serialised by numerals in double Pūrna Virāma (full stop). They are a total of 9 verses in the text. This Ms. is written 7–8 lines per folio. There are double red vertical margins on each side of the folio. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Name of the former owner Janārdana Koḍadevagāda is wriiten in marathi language in (f.2b).




Adbhutaśānti

Adbhutaśānti is the 67th Ātharvāṇapariśiṣṭa which is the appendix of Atharvaveda. This text is a Manual of rules that are to be employed during Natural Disasters. Like bad omens of Indra, Varuṇa, Yama, Agni, Kubera, Viṣṇu, Vāyu and their respective precautions. The text is a part of Baudhāyana's Baudhāyanasūtra. This Ms. is written in 10 lines per folio. The title is present in the begining of (f.1a). There are double red vertical Margins on each side of the folio. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in margins. Significant syllables and words have been rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. The Ms. is dated Śāka 1725 in (f.2b).

Adbhutottarakāṇḍe śrīsītārāmayorayodhyāgamanam Supplementary text to the epic Rāmāyaṇa, addresses exploits and adventures of Sītā and Rāma with the perspective of Vedānta philosophy. There are complete 27 Sargas (chapters) in this text. Though this text is attributed to Vālmiki, This text was written later. It is written 7–16 lines per folio. Cover page is Blank. Double black or red vertical line margins in most of the folios. Mistakes covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Ādhānahautra

Ādhānahautra is a manual for performing Vedic rituals and sacrifices related to offering to the deities by the priest on behalf of someone. This Ms. is written 9 lines per folio. Cover page is blank. The back page contains some faded text. Mistakes blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Some folios are yellow coloured. The Ms.'s Maṅgalavākya is in praise of three deities Gaṇeṣa, Sarasvatī and Gajānana (elephant a reference to deity Gaṇeṣa) instead of just Gaṇeṣa which is typical.




Adhānapaddhati prayoga

Hiraṇyakeśīdarśa pūrṇamāsa prayoga or Adhānapaddhati prayoga is a manual for initiation of Vedic rituals and sacrifices by a priest like setting up of three sacred fires that surround the fire altar (vedi) and other ritualistic practices. This Ms. is written in 10–11 lines per folio. Cover and back page both contain title. Title from colophon (f.75a). Mistakes covered with yellow or blacked out. Ādhikaraṇaratnamālā Adhyāya 10 is a commentary on Jaiminīya's Mīmāṃsāsūtra's tenth chapter from the perspective of Pūrva Mīmāṃsa school of Hindu philosophy by Mādhava. The text gives detailed explanation of Mīmāṃsa and the related interpretations of vedic practices and rituals which are paramount to the philosophy as codified by Jaiminī. There are other texts with the same name by different authors which are mainly related to Uttara Mīmāṃsa schools which is Vedānta. This Ms. is written in 11 lines per folio. Cover and back page is blank. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. This Ms. was originally part of a single manuscript along with Ms. Coll. 390; Items 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1947 and 1948 according to penn. cataloguer.




Adhomukhajananaśānti

Adhomukhajananaśānti is a text which contains mantras dedicated to Tryaṃbaka, which means the three eyed one, a form of the supreme Hindu deity Śiva. The text is used for devotion and avertion of bad omens. This Ms. is written in 14 lines. Back page is blank. Title present in colophon (f.1a). Mistakes are blacked out. The Ms. is dated saṃvat 1935 śaka 1799 in the (f.1a) along with scribe Jekyā Cipolākara.
