This is an avadāna text, a compilation of early Buddhist legends.




Dvādaśa-tīrtha-māhātmya

This lists 12 Buddhist pilgrimage sites. The index at the end lists the sites, names of Nāga kings and a few Buddhist texts.




Daśāvatāra praśna

This is an astrological text, that discusses graha, rāśi, lagna and their planetary positions during each month. The last part describes how anyone can improve their fate by invoking the ten incarnations of Viṣṇu.




Vidhi grantha kahṇḍita(Unknown)

EAP1296/2/23 Language : Newari Scripts : Devanagari


This is written in an exercise book, so is comparatively recent. The text is incomplete and its name is missing, but the restoration team gave a name by way of an identifier.




Bhāvanā yāyenhu

EAP1296/2/24 Language : Newari Scripts : Devanagari


This is a recent manuscript, written in an exercise book. This is a Newari text on cultivation of mind, also signifies to contemplation and spiritual cultivation.




Daśakarma vidhi & Adhivāsana kriyā vidhi

These are two texts related to vidhi or rituals. These rituals occupy a significant place in Newar Buddhist culture.




Caryāgīta/Caryāgītī

This text has salutation songs dedicated to various Buddhist deities. This songs are called Caryāgīta, and accompany ritual dances.




Laṅkāvatārasūtra

A Mahayana Buddhist sutra, said to have been preached by the Buddha in Lanka, first to the serpent king, and then, at the invitation of Rāvana, to an assembly of monks and bodhisattvas. This is one of the nine sacred books of Nepalese Buddhists in 10 chapters and 36,000 verses (NCC).




Kiraṇavidhi

EAP1296/2/28 Language : Sanskrit Scripts : Newari


This is a Buddhist ritual text highly acclaimed among the Newar Buddhits in the Kathmandu valley.




Cacā (?) Unidentified

EAP1296/2/29 Language : Newari and Sanskrit Scripts : Devanagari


This is written in an exercise book so is comparatively recent. It has at least four different works written in different inks and different hand writings, making it hard to identify the title. The last work is a Ganeśa stotra, all the rest are Buddhist works.




Antyaśānti kriyāvidhi

This is a Buddhist ritual text, related to śrāddha karma.
