Satra Senko Kathā

Satra Senko Kathā is a folktale about Prince Satra Sen and Suvarṇakeśarī. Written in Old Nepali, this classical narrative tells the story of how the prince is captivated by the rākṣasa Lwāhāsura. Following a dispute with his father, Satra Sen leaves his kingdom with his four friends and eventually reaches the city of Lwāhāsura, where he meets Princess Suvarṇakeśarī. Through their intelligence, Satra Sen and Suvarṇakeśarī manage to kill the rākṣasa. However, before they can be united, they are separated once again. Princess Suvarṇakeśarī is then taken to the palace of King Agora, where she is held captive. The story is incomplete in the manuscript.
