About this Manuscript

A ritual text on the worship of Rāma, authored by Ānandavana, disciple of Mukundavana, in the 15th century. It is based primarily on the 12th-century Agastyasaṃhitā, one of the first texts to focus on Rāma worship. The manuscript contains all five paṭala-s; there are annotations in red pen (5v–6r, 9r, 10r–11v), which include specific prayers to be recited.
