About this Manuscript
Pradyotana Miśra’s commentary (prakāśa) on the Candraloka by Pīyūṣavarṣa Jayadeva (c. 1200–1250), composed in 1583 ce. The colophon describes the author as ‘sakalaśāstra arvind’, possibly a play on his other name ‘Padmanābha’, and names his father and that of his patron, Vīrabhadradeva (Vāghela dynasty).
