Grahalāghava

The manuscript contains the work Grahalāghava by Gaṇeśadaivajña (active 1520-1554) of Nandigrāma in Koṅkaṇa on the West-coast, Son of Keśava Daivajña and Lakṣmī. Paternal uncle and teacher of Nṛsiṁha. This text is an astronomical treatise which describes the method of computations of the positions of planets. The manuscript is written in 7-8 lines per leaf. 34 leaves are foliated 1–34, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins, verse dividers in red throughout, vertical margins marked with double red line. The scribe of the manuscript is Sadāśīva Daivajña mentioned the last verse which explains on how to protect the book.
