Chāndogya Upaniṣad (Adhyāya 1-5)

An Upaniṣadic treatise, it is part of the Chāndogya Brāhmaṇa of the Tāṇḍya school of the Sāmaveda. Considered one of the earliest Upaniṣadic texts, it discusses Brahman (the supreme reality), liberation, and the means to attain it. The text comprises eight prapāṭhakas (chapters), which are further divided into subchapters (khaṇḍas). This manuscript contains chapters 1 to 5. The manuscript is complete but the text is incomplete.
