Bhaktāmaraprabhava

A Jain text written in the Prākṛt language discusses the sādhana-vidhi (the text begins with bhaktāmara-sādhivānī-vidhi) of the Bhaktāmara Stotra attributed to Mānatuṅga. The stotras are dedicated to Ādinātha, and this particular text discusses the powers (prabhava) that the stotra is believed to possess. In the text, the stotra is considered a kāvya (poetic composition). At the colophon, the manuscript gives the title of the text as Śrī-bhaktāmara-prabhava. Although the Colenda Library attributes the work to Mānatuṅga, his name is not mentioned in the manuscript itself. This Ms. is written in 9–10 lines per folio. Title present in colophon (f. 3a). Back page contains alternate title Bhaktāmarastotra. There are double red vertical margins present on each side of the folio. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections present.
