Karavīramāhātmya (1-19)

The work of Karavīramāhātmya text about greatness of Kolhapur goddess Mahālaṣmi. Karavīra is the old name of Kolhapur, a city located in the state of Maharashtra, India. The godesses Mahālaṣmi is one of the 3 and half shakti peeth from Maharashtra. Manuscript consists glory of the goddess Mahālaṣmi. It is in a discussion between the legendary sage Agasti and his wife Lopāmudrā. Text is incomplete containing full chapters from 1–19 (f. 1b–49a) and ending in chapter 20 with jāpyate paśavaṃputrādha (f. 58a). Title is taken from colophon of chapter 19 (f. 49a). The manuscript is written in 9-10 lines per leaf. 59 leaves are foliated 1–22, 24, 24–58, [i], upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins.
