About this Manuscript

Gaṅgāṣṭaka is a devotional text with eight verses as the name suggests dedicated to the sacred river deity Gaṅgā. The text describes nature of the river and it's purification qualities. The text is attributed to Kālidāsa in (f.2b). This Ms. is written in 8 lines per folio. There are double black vertical margins present on each side of the folio.
