About this Manuscript

The Adhyātma Rāmāyaṇa is a highly influential spiritual and philosophical retelling of the Rāmāyaṇa. It follows basic plot of Vālmīki’s epic. The text is structured as a dialogue between lord Śiva and Parvatī, Rāma is Parabrahman. The works covers only 5th chapter (Sundar Kāṇḍa). Manuscript is slightly torn some folios.
