About this Manuscript

This is a great epic Rāmāyaṇa attributed to Vālmīki. It has seven chapters, in which the work contains the fifth chapter Kiṣkindhā Kāṇḍa. The Kiṣkindhā Kāṇḍa covers the alliance between Rāma and the Vānaras. This chapter covers Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa meet Hanumān, Alliance with Sugrīva, Slaying of Bālī, Sampāti's Revelation. The manuscript is good colophone part of every subchapters are highlighted with red ink and cover of this manuscript mentioned the donor and owner name.
