About this Manuscript
This is a Commantry text of Pāraskara Gṛhyasutra composed by Gadādhara Dikṣita, son of Vāmana. This work is from Yajurvedic tradition. It contains Saṃskāras (rites of passage) for individuals following the ŚuklaYajurveda. (see NCC. vol. 5, p.301b). It has only 1 chapter (Kāṇḍa) with 20 subchapters (Kaṇḍikā). The first chapter covers Marriage rituals, pregnancy rites, and birth ceremonies, it seems the manuscript is complete but the text itself is incomplete. It has mentioned in the colophone with the author's father's name and the chapters name.
