About this Manuscript
It is a work on the Vedic ritual Homa paddhati. The manuscript consists of an elaborate process, rules, and mantra vidhi and dāna vidhi of different Homa Paddhati-s (f .3b), Lakṣahoma (f. 3b), and Koṭihoma (f. 4b–5b). These two types of sacrifices are explained by the priests. Title is taken from the colophon (f. 5b). The manuscript is written in 11–13 lines per leaf. Five leaves are foliated 1–5, marked on the upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions are in the margins, the vertical margins are marked with a double black line.
