About this Manuscript

Baudhāyanadarśapūrṇamāsacāturmāsyavihāra is a supplementary text based on Baudhāyana's dharmaśāstra text used to perform the New Moon and Full Moon sacrifices which are considered important vedic rituals through which other rituals are also inintiated. This Ms. is written in 12-13 lines per folio. There are double red vertical margins present on each side of the folio. Mistakes covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. The Ms. is part of a group of manuscripts written by or under the direction of Sadāśiva, along with Ms. Coll. 390; Items 1276, 1279, 1280, 1281, 1282, 1283, 1284, 1285, 1286, 1287, 1288, 1289, 1292, 1294, 1295, 1296, 1297, 1298, 1299, and 1300.
