About this Manuscript

Hanumānekamukhīstotra is a text dedicated to deity Hanumān. It consists of verses which are recited for protection like an amulet as per belief, just like how a Kavaca (armor) gives protection to the phisical body. Title is taken from the colophon (f. 8b). The manucript is written in 7 lines per leaf. 8 leaves are foliated 1–8, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words highlighted in red, vertical margins marked with double red line.
