About this Manuscript

In the last folio of the the manuscript the picture of circle is drawn manually and in thr first two Folios contain the picture of half- circle. On thr four side of circle the picture of Gaja (Elephant) is drean. As Gja is the mount of maṇḍala (circle) of the Brahmāṇḍa (the orb of Brahma).At the centre of thr rounded picture the name od Sumerugiri and Jambudvīpa are mentioned. On the one side of the cirle the name of Gandhamādana mountain and the opposite side the name od Mālyavān mountain is aslo seen. Brahmāṇḍala is the circle/circuit of the universe. Jambudvīpa is the central island- containent of Bhūloka where Bhāratavarṣa/ India remains. It is divided by 7 mountain ranges called Kūlaparvatas. These 7 ranges divide Jambudvīpa into 9 varṣa/region. llāvṛta Varṣa. They are Ramyaka. Hiraṇmaya, uttarakuru, Bhadrāśva, ketumāla, Hari and kiṃpuruṣa Varṣsas, which are bound by Niṣadha, Hemavān mountains. Extract from Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa is the centra; region with Meru at its core. Apart from them there are 7 varṣas.
