About this Manuscript

Gocaraphala is a priest manual for Hindu astrology used to make predictions using a person's birth chart in relation to the position of planets in the celestial sky often from the natal Moon position. There are many phalita Jyotiṣaśāstra texts with the same name and intent. An astrlogical text focusing on the results of planetary transits (gocara) and their respective fruits (phala). This Ms. is written in 6–7 lines per folio. cover page is blank. Title present in colophon (f. 3b) vertically. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins.
