About this Manuscript
This is a stotra text praising Lord Śiva, composed by Mārkaṇḍeya (as mentioned in the colophon, folio 1b). It is believed that chanting this stotra helps dispel the fear of death, promotes good health and longevity, and protects against an accidental death. The text appears to function like an amulet. This Ms. is written in 10 lines per folio. Title present in colophon (f. 1b). Mistakes are blacked out.
