Citradīpa (prakaraṇa of the Pañcadaśī)

This is a commentary on the Citradīpa-prakaraṇa of the Pañcadaśī by Vidyāraṇya, written by Rāmakṛṣṇa. The text describes four states (avasthā) of Brahman (the Universal Consciousness): Cit, Antaryāmī, Sūtrātmā, and Virāṭ. This manuscript is similar to Item 895. According to the Penn. cataloguer the manuscript was formerly part of a larger manuscript along with Ms. Coll. 390, Items 1034, 1035, 1037, 1038, 1039, 1040, 1041, 1042, 1043, 1044, and 1045.; Dated śaka 1766 (1844) (Ms. Coll. 390, Item 1045, f. 3a).; Scribe is Nārāyaṇa (Ms. Coll. 390, Item 1035, f. 3a) (all accessible on the UPenn. site).
