About this Manuscript
This is a stotra text written in 16 verses, praising Lord Śiva. The purpose of chanting this stotra is to seek forgiveness for sins and transgressions (aparādha). The text is attributed to Śaṅkarācārya as its composer. It is similar to Item 2447, though it includes two additional verses, and the sequence of the verses as well as the titles differ. This Ms. is written in 6 lines per folio. Cover page contains title. Back page is blank. Title present in colophon (f. 5a). Folios have been treated with yellow turmeric powder. Mistakes are covered with yellow.
