About this Manuscript

A ritual manual for conducting pūjā for Maṅgala (the planet Mars), this work also contains mantras praising Maṅgala for the removal of diseases, the elimination of obstacles, and the attainment of prosperity. This stotra is taken from the Skanda Purāṇa. This Ms. is written in 7 lines per folio. Cover page is blank. Title present in colophon (f. 4b). The Ms. is dated on (f. 4b). Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Many folios are treated with yellow turmeric powder.
