About this Manuscript
Anantavratodyāpana describes the Anantavrata ritual also known as Ananta Caturdaśi is an observance dedicated to the Hindu deity Viṣṇu in the form of Ananta. This rituals are performed on the 14th day of the Śukla pakṣa (waxing moon) in the month of Bhādrapada (August-September). The text is a part of the Skandapurāṇa (f. 3b). This Ms. is written in 9 lines per folio. Cover page is blank. Title present in colophon (f. 3b). Mistakes are blacked out. The Ms. is dated on the basis of manuscripts written by the same scribe Ms. Coll. 390; Items 2277 and 2292. Ms. Coll. 390; Items 2275, 2276, 2277, 2281, 2282, 2286, 2287, 2288, 2289, 2290, 2291, 2292, and 2293.
