Kārikāvalī

A Nyāya-Vaiśeṣika text, also known as Kārikāvalī or Paribhāṣāpariccheda, was composed by Viśvanātha Nyāyapañcānana, the son of Vidyānivāsa. This manuscript contains the full text with 170 kārikās (concise verses stating doctrinal principles) and discusses topics such as pratyakṣa, anumāna, śabda, smṛti, dravya, and guṇa. Title is taken from colophon (f. 9b). The manuscript is written in 10 lines per leaf. 9 leaves are foliated 1–9, upper left and lower right verso. Two items, Ms. Coll. 390, Item 2684 and Item 2685, are parts of a single manuscript. Mistakes are covered in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red; vertical margins marked with double red line; some folios are treated with yellow turmeric powder to protect the manuscript from insects. The manuscript is same as 376. but the scribe is different.
