About this Manuscript

This ritual text follows the Darśapaurṇamāsa section of Baudhāyana’s Śrautasūtra, it focusing on the atonement rites (prāyaścitta) performed during the new moon and full moon. It explains how to properly conduct these rites with mantras, step by step. The text also mentions the Prāyaścitta-candrikā, a Dharmaśāstra text (f. 12a).
