About this Manuscript
"The Divyāvadāna is a large compendium of Indian Buddhist narratives written in Sanskrit from the early centuries of the Common Era. The Nagarāvalambikā avadāna (The Story of a Woman Dependent on the City for Alms) is about a leprous beggar woman who sees the venerable Mahākāśyapa, offers him rice water as an offering and subsequently through her earned merit attains a plan among the Tuṣita heaven. (14, Rotman) The Nagarāvalambikā avadāna manuscript is in really good condition with broad folia and neat Devanāgarī lettering.
