Composite Manuscript:— 1. Gaṅgālaharī is a devotional text to the Hindu river deity mother Gaṅgā as the title suggests waves of the Gaṅgā. The text comprises of 52 verses describing the glory of the deity and the river. The text contains an unidentified commentary. there is a 2nd text Anusmṛti on (f.15a) which is not a part of the 1st text. It is incomplete. It contains only four verses. 2. Anusmṛti is the 3rd Part out of the 3 from the 12th Parva (chapter) of the epic Mahābhārata, that is Śānti Parva. There are a total of 18 Parvas in Mahābhārata, Anusmṛti contains 90 Ślokas (metered verses) depending on the edition. The text describes how does one achieve Moksha (liberation of one's 'Ātmana' a type of soul that reincarnates into a new body after the previous body dies) and the importance of remembering the supreme Hindu deity Viṣṇu at the time of death. This Ms. is written in 9–12 lines per folio. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. In the last folio speaker titles and numerals rubbed with orange powder.
