Introduction
About this Manuscript
This is a sub commentary text Prauḍha Manoramā. Bhaṭṭoji Dīkṣita wrote the Siddhānta Kaumudī to rearrange Pāṇini’s rules, and then wrote the Manoramā to explain the deeper logic, provide philosophical justifications, and defend his interpretations. Manoramā means "that which pleases the mind. Prauḍha means "mature" or "advanced" signaling that this text is intended for scholars, not beginners. It covers only svara sandhi, halanta sandhi, visarga sandhi, and samāsa prakaraṇa. The text has neither mentioned any folio number nor the title, intermadiate colophone has developed the the title so it seems it is an incomplete text.
