Aduḥkhanavamīkathā

Aduḥkhanavamīkathā is part of the Skandapurāṇa. It contains prayers and observance to be performed on the ninth day during the month of Bhādra (August/September) to ward off problems for the year. There is a section in the Ms. for the worship of supreme Hindu deity Parvātī in the form of Gauri. This Ms. is written in 9–10 lines per folio. Alternate title Aduḥkhanavamīvratakathā present in begining of text in (f. 1a). Title present in colophon (f. 7b). There are double red vertical margins on each side of the folio. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words are rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. The Ms. is dated in (f. 7b) along with scribe Viśvanātha Parāḍakara.
