Kaivalyopaniṣad

The paper manuscript is Kaivalya upaniṣad. The text expresses Shaivism in vedanta. Aśvalayana ask to brahma about realizaton of the self and non dual idendity. The Kaivalya Upanishad describes the final stage of complete realization, where one attains the ultimate knowledge that dissolves all duality, allowing the realized being to emerge as the one the absolute, beyond all distinctions. Title from colophon (f. 3b).The manuscript is written in 11–12 lines per leaf.; 3 leaves are foliated 1–3, upper left and lower right verso. Mistakes are blacked out or crossed out, some additions written in margins; some red wash dripped onto some folios (f. 2b–3a) as if manuscript was employed in a rite or ritual. Scribe is Śaktiyukta Vināyaka Sahasrabudhi (f. 3b). The manuscript sr no 916 and 917 are same but the scribe is different.
