Composite Manuscript: — 1. Gaṇeśatāpinī upaniṣad also known as Gaṇapati Atharvaśīrṣa is a minor upaniṣad text according to the Muktika Upaniṣad classified as a Śaiva Upaniṣad based on the Atharvaveda. It is typical of Śaiva Upaniṣads associate supreme deities like Śiva with the ultimate reality which is Brahman. In this text it associates with elephant headed deity Gaṇeśa. 2. Herambopaniṣad is also a minor upaniṣad text which is dedicated towards deity Gaṇeśa particularly in the Heramba Gaṇeśa form who is depicted to have five-heads and ten-arms. Like the previous text it associates the deity with Brahman, the text is written in dialogue format between Lord Śiva and his consort Gauri (Parvati). This text is also used in tāntric worship. This Ms. is written in 14–16 lines per folio. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins.
