Jātakābharaṇa

The manuscript contains Jātakābharaṇa by Ḍhuṇḍhirāja which includes a chapter titled Dvādaśabhāvaphala, which discusses auspicious and inauspicious results (śubha-aśubha phala), the nature of each planet, and the twelve houses associated with them. Every planet occupies a specific place in an individual’s birth chart, and since planets are constantly in motion, their movement from one house to another produces various effects on a person. These results depend on the house the planet moves into and the corresponding zodiac sign. Thus, the influence of any planet situated in any of the twelve houses is determined by the relationship between the planet, the house it occupies, and the overall planetary configuration in the birth chart. Title is taken from the intermediate colophon (f. 24b) title of second text Ṣaṭsaptavargavicāra from the colophon (f. 25a). It is written in 9–10 lines per leaf. 25 leaves are foliated 1–25, upper left and lower right verso.
