An Advaita Vedānta philosophical treatise, composed in the form of a dialogue between a guru (master) and śiṣya (pupil), discusses self-knowledge and the longing for liberation, and is attributed to Śaṃkarācārya. In the colophon of the manuscript, it is mentioned that Śaṃkarācārya was the pupil of Govindapāda, and he is addressed here with the epithet 'Bhagavatpāda'. This manuscript is composed of 570 ślokas. There are double red vertical margins present on each side of the folio. The (Pūrṇavirāma) full stop style vertical brackets are in red. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out.
