Introduction
About this Manuscript
This manuscript contains at least 15 works by Advayavajra. The author, also known as Avadhūtipā or Avadhūtapāda (c. 1000 CE), was the guru of Lalitagupta. The author's name appears on folio 12a. A separate publication was issued under the title Advayavajrasaṅgraha, which includes 21 works by Advayavajra (NCC, Vol. 1, p. 119) edited by Haraprasad Shastri in 1927. It appears that this manuscript contains more than 15 works by Advayavajra. However, due to the loss of many folios, some works are incomplete or missing altogether. The works preserved in this manuscript include: Mahāsukhaprakāśa (f.4b), Kudṛṣṭinighātana (f.11a), Kudṛṣṭinighātavākyaṭīppaṇī (f.12a), Premapañcaka (f.18a), Tattvaratnāvalī (f.20b), Tattvadaśaka (f.21b), Tattvaviṃśikā (f.23a), Svapanirukti (f.23b), Māyānirukti (f.24b), Tattvaprakāśa (f.25b), Apratiṣṭhānaprakāśa (f.26b), Yuganaddhaprakāśa (f.27a), Pañcatathāgatamudrāvivaraṇa (f.31a), Sekatānvayasaṃgraha (f.31a–33b) Folia 34–38 are missing, resulting in the loss of the concluding part of the Sekatānvayasaṃgraha. Caturmudrā (f.39–42a) Folio 42a is damaged, which prevents the final part of Caturmudrā from being deciphered.
