Gaṇapatipūjā

Gaṇapatipūjā is a Dharmaśāstra text dedicated to elephant headed Hindu deity Gaṇeśa which has been inspired from the larger purāṇic text Skandapurāṇa as mentioned in the colophon. The text is a section of Vratārka as mentioned in the beginning of the text. The work is a collection of rituals compiled by Śaṅkarabhaṭṭa. The text is like a manual for performing procedures for rituals and observances. In particular pūjās for deity Gaṇeśa that take place during each lunar month for prosparity and wellness. This Ms. is written in 9 lines per folio. Cover page contains title. Alternate title Saṃkaṣṭacaturthi present in colophon (f. 8b). There are double red vertical margins present on each side of the folio. Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins.
