About this Manuscript
Baudhāyanadarśapūrṇamāsaprayoga is a part of a larger work Baudhāyana-śrautasūtra which is a Kalpaśāstra text based on the Taittirīya śākhā of the Kṛṣṇa-Yajuraveda. The text is a manual to perform the New Moon and Full Moon sacrifices which are considered important vedic rituals through which other rituals are also inintiated. This Ms. is written in 9 lines per folio. Cover page contains title. Alternate title Baudhāyanakṛtadarśapaurṇamāsaprayoga present in colophon (f. 51b). Mistakes covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. The Ms. is dated saṃvat 1875 and śaka 1740 kārttikavadya 3 (Monday, 16 November 1818 A.D.) (f. 51a).
