About this Manuscript

It is a commentary on the Mīmāṃsānyāya-prakāśa, a treatise on Pūrva-Mīmāṃsā authored by Āpadeva. The commentator was his son. The manuscript contains the complete pūrvārdha (first part), covering folios 1b to 46b, as well as an incomplete introductory portion of the second part. This Ms. is written in 14–17 lines per folio. Title present in colophon (f. 46b). Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting.
