Gopālasahasranāma

Gopālasahasranāma is a part of fourth section and eight chapter of larger work Nārada Pañcarātra which is a Vaiṣṇava text consisting of five sections composed during Pāñcarātra movement which lead to the rise of Vaiṣṇavism and sects of Vedānta philosophy whch are not strictly non-dualists in nature. The text contains 192 verses which are presented in a dialogue format between supreme Hindu deities Śiva and Pārvatī. In which Śiva reveals the 1000 names of Lord Kṛṣṇa who is alsa named Gopāla (cow herder). This Ms. is written in 9–12 lines per folio. Title present in colophon (f. 7b). Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting.
