About this Manuscript
This manuscript contains the first to the fourth pāda of the second adhyāya of the Bhāṣyaratnaprabhā, a sub-commentary on Śaṃkarācārya’s Śārīrakamīmāṃsā-bhāṣya, which itself is a commentary on the Śārīrakamīmāṃsā or Brahmasūtra of Bādarāyaṇa. The first pāda spans fols. 1a–22b; the second pāda, fols. 22b–51b and 52a; the third pāda, fols. 52a–75a; and the fourth pāda, fols. 75a–82b. This Ms. is written in 12–13 lines per folio. Title of super-commentary Bhāṣyaratnaprabhā present in colophon (f. 67a). Cover page contanis alternate title Śārīrakabhagavatpādabhāṣyaṭīkā. There are quadruple black vertical margins present on each side of the folio. Mistakes are blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. The Ms. was originally part of a larger manuscript along with Ms. Coll. 390; Item 1062.
