The Guhyakāli Aṣṭottaraśatanāma is a Tantric hymn consisting of the 108 names of Guhya Kāli. In the Nepal region particularly within the Newar Vajrayāna and Hindu Tantric traditions, Guhyakāli is one of the most significant and esoteric deities. She is often considered the patron goddess of the Kathmandu Valley and the protective deity of the Nepalese monarchy. The stotra describes the names cover her aspects as the creator, the destroyer, her residence in cremation grounds (śmaśāna), and her role in granting Siddhi (supernatural powers) and Mukti (liberation).
