Agnihotrahomaprayoga

Agnihotrahomaprayoga is a priest manual for performing Agnihotra sacrificial rituals. It is a vedic fire ritual performed during sunrise and sunset which involves various ingredients like rice, ghee etc. Bestowed in the fire in a copper pyramid shaped vessel along with chanting of mantras. The ritual is belived to purify the enviroment and have a positive impact on mental and emotional health. This Ms. is written in 7 lines per folio. Cover and back page are blank. Author Toro Rudradeva son of Toro Narasiṃha present in colophon (f. 43a). Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. The Ms. is dated saṃvat 1871 (1814) in the dark half of Phalguna (February-March) in (f. 43a) along with author Toro Rudradeva.
