Advaitamakaranda

Advaitamakaranda translated as Honey of Advaita is a philosophical treatise on Advaita(non-dualistic) Vedānta school of Hindu philosophy with a commentary running parallel Rasābhivyañjikā by Svayamprakāśa. The text is a guide to understand the core principles and teachings of Advaita like non-duality, the illusion of seperation of the self from the world. The Brahman being the the ultimate reality and root of all things. The text focuses on clear and concise explanations rather than relying just on intellectual understanding. This Ms. is written in 11–12 lines per folio. Cover page contains title. Both title and commentary title present in colophon in (f. 22b). Mistakes are covered with yellow or blacked out. Some corrections and additions in the margins. Significant syllables and words rubbed with orange powder for highlighting. The Ms. is dated saṃvat 1883 and śaka 1748 in (f. 22b).
