About this Manuscript
Bṛhadāraṇyakopaniṣad belongs to Śukla Yajurveda. This manuscript contains Adhyāya 6 . Upaniṣad consists of three sections . From that Adhyāya 6 is within the third section which is called as Khilakāṇḍa (“Supplementary Section”). The Adhyāya consists supremacy of the Prana , Process of Rebirth , Conception and Birth as Religious Rites,The Line of Teachers. Govinda Brahma, the son of Kaṇḍabhaṭṭa Brahma is the scribe of this manusceipt, who resided in the hindu pilgrimage center of Varāṇasī.
