About this Manuscript
Āryavalokiśvara Mahāyāna Bodhisattva and his cult has played an important role in the growth of Mahāyāna Buddhism and art. The Mahayanists worship Avlokiteśvara as a merciful and with fulfilling god. He is the god of Universal Compassion.The text contains verious stotras of Avlokiteśvara Folio (1a–2a) Pālijñānsūva stotra by Viśṇusingh. Puṇḍalīkāsuva stotra (f.2a–3b), Svarāṣṭava Stotra (f.3b–4b), Ślokāṣṭakam (f.4b–6a), Dvādaśa falanusaṁsāra stotra (f.6a–7a), Sūprabhāsuva Stotra, (f.7a–12a) This is an incomplete manuscript. It seems that consist 2 different stotras. Ratnamārā (Ratnamālā) by Ratnapāda (12a–16a), Narakodhana Stotra (f.16a– 17b), (f.17b–18a) Avlokiteśvara Stotra which seems is an incomplete.
