Description
The Viśvakarmavāstuśāstra is the primary textbook of the Viśvakarmā school of architecture, it is attributed to Viśvakarmā, the divine architect of the god. The works covers 13 chapters including; Bhūmiparīkṣā, Gṛhādī nirmāṇa, śilānyāsa, dvāra nirmāṇa, Jalāśaya nirmāṇa, vṛkṣacchedana, gṛhapraveśa, koṭavāstu, śalyoddhāra, vaidha vivāha etc. The manuscript mentioned the chapters name with folio number in a list at the end of this works, In the between a architechtural measurement chart has mentioned also at the end colophone author mentioned the geneology of Architechtural study. The manuscript is damaged by water and termite. (see NCC. vol.30, p.41b)
