Description
The Vasudhārādhāraṇī, dedicated to Vasudhārā, the bodhisattva of wealth, prosperity, and abundance (who has a strong following among the Newar Buddhists of the Kathmandu valley), is taught by the Buddha in Kauśāmbī to the rich merchant and layman Sucandra to alleviate poverty.
